Welcome to our little corner of the world, where we spend our days finding the extraordinary amidst the ordinary and seeking the simplicity that is sometimes hard to find in this fast-paced world.
This blog is a place for us to find solidarity with YOU- parents out there raising kids who
are in the world but not of the world. Let’s remind each other to notice beauty in the
mundane moments of motherhood, to lay down worry and take up surrender, to celebrate who
our kids are-not just what they do, and to never underestimate the greatness of work you
are doing within the walls of your own home as you raise little souls.
May fear or convenience never get in the way of living the life your family has been called to live.

Before I was a became a mom, I taught second grade. It never once crossed my mind to homeschool my own kids one day. When my oldest was a year away from entering kindergarten, I figured I’d having nothing to lose by giving it a trial year. I went into it focused on the curriculum, schedule, and academics and came out of it being blown away by every non-academic grace that filled our lives because of it. I realized it has very little to getting to do school with them, but all about getting to do LIFE with them.
Thanks for being on this journey of parenthood with us. It’s a joy to raising souls for Him with you!
