Home Library Organization

Here’s a look into how we organize our home library for the kids! We have book boxes so little toddler hands can’t pull books off the shelves so easily every day. The boxes also give us a way to organize the books into categories. Each kid has a library card and can check out 10 books a week to read at quiet time and bed time. At the end of the week we work together to return them to their right places and check out 10 new ones! I’ve linked the boxes at the bottom of this page. Enjoy 🙂

Here’s a video recapping the process of making our home library!

Purchase wood boxes here.

Our bookshelf was homemade by Dexter but you can purchase cubbies that go with these wood boxes here.

This is our favorite laminator and you will want to snag some lamination sheets to go with!

Happy library building 🙂
