Do you ever get that feeling, deep down in your heart, that a majority of childhood was never actually meant to be spent sitting inside of the building? Every day that I learn my kids on a little bit deeper of a level than I’ve ever known them before, and the more I get to know how God so wonderfully wired a child, the harder it is for me to believe that He designed these little bodies to be sitting inside of a building for 70% of their childhood, instead of exploring the beautiful world He created, or spending more time with the family He so intentionally picked out for them to be with every day.
How do you think schools should look differently when it comes to time outside moving, exploring, and experiencing God’s beauty?
