Our Kids’ Home Library

Come take a peek at how we organize our kids’ home library! With homeschooling we own A TON of books. With several little ones, the traditional books lined on a shelf doesn’t work for us because they all get pulled right off. With non-readers in the house, word labels don’t work for organizing. So, we have found a picture AND word-labeled bin method that works really well for us! I hope it helps you too!

Step 1: Create and print labels. I use the app Canva to create mine.

Step 2: Cut out the printed labels, laminate them, then cut them out once more.

Step 3: Hole punch each label and tie it on the book bin with a string.

Step 4: If desired, create your own library cards using this template.

Shop the bookshelves, book bins, and our laminating and printing supplies here!
